Q. now baby are getting better care with technology development, and here are a new version baby monitor,it has a fresh green apple style shape which is really attractive. With PIR motion alarm and sleep mode, you are easier to take care of your baby and get more relax time.

My baby's movement decreased?

Q. I am finishing my 27 weeks and I started noticing that my baby doesn't move as much as used to for last 2 days.
I have lay down and counted few times and the baby moves but it used to be more noticable and more often.
Is this something usual or I should concern about?

Answer
it happens as the baby gets bigger and there is no room for the baby. you should do a kick count and if you dont get as many as you should then u should call your dr. so they can monitor the baby for you. dont worry im sure everything is fine but if your really worried jus call your dr. you can also try to drink cold orange juice or apple. good luck

Wireless multiple IP camera DVR for Baby Monitoring?

Q. I am potentially going to hire a nanny to watch my daugher for about 4-5 hours, 2x per week while my wife works. I want to wire the house with some cameras, but since I only rent, I want to use a wireless IP camera system. Ideally, it would have 4 to 6 cameras with at least one night vision camera, wireless IP connections, viewable anywhere via IP, and the ability to record the data streams to a hard drive. Does anyone have any good ideas of a relatively inexpensive system to put in place?

I've looked at the FOSCAM wireless IP camera (http://www.amazon.com/Foscam-Wireless-Camera-antennas-FI8918W/dp/B004UMN6VE/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1326384639&sr=8-3-spell). I could buy 4 cameras, but I don't know how the recording works. I'd rather not have to setup a computer with their software to record the data streams. I'd rather procure an alternate DVR system that records automatically.

Answer
Sure - and one of these hidden cameras wont find it's way into your bedroom. :)

Look - VCR's are sub-standard def and they dont make inexpensive HD tape recorders. And a lot of people want to not only record - but be able to log into the home computer and see what is going on remotely. This means ... a computer.

Try checking out WOOT.COM . I occasionally see a wireless security camera system for a low price. (Look in the Community section for past woots).

Or contact your local spy-shop. They sometimes rent nanny-cams.

Okay, i have been searching for weeks for a good baby monitor that has video, operates with a 2.4 ghz or dect so there is minimal interference. Either a portable audio or the video itself is portable. Prefer the camera to be wall mountable but if its necessary we can make do with out. Doesn't have to have anything special like lullabies or night lights or anything. But something with a good range as well and indicator for out of range and battery life would be great. And doesn't cost a couple of hundred dollars???? I would really really really like to find something like this but apparently it doesn't exist? Almost every video monitor i come across has bad reviews somewhere. :( Any help would be great. A name to look up? where to get it? I have been searching Amazon, Walmart, Baby's R' Us, target, etc. Maybe i need to be a little lenient on something? idk. HELP please!

Answer
A cheaper alternative may be one without a video monitor, but with a sensor pad instead. I've got a Tommee Tippee one and it clicks each time baby moves, and will sound an alarm if no movement is detected in 20 seconds. It is reassuring, but not a necessity. You can get by just fine with a standard monitor, you'll go up and check on baby when you hear them anyway.
