Question About Home Fetal Doppler Baby Heart Monitors?

I was just curious if anyone has used a home fetal doppler baby heart monitor during their pregnancy
I am 11 weeks and I just ordered mine today ~ I am renting one to use.
How was your experience if you used one ?
How often did you listen to your babies heart beat ?
How many weeks were you when you first started using one ?

I bought one when I first found out I was pregnant with my son. I couldn't hear his heartbeat until I was around 15 weeks but I LOVED it! I had just lost a baby right before I got pregnant with my son so it put my mind at ease between dr appts. I listened to his heartbeat everyday several times a day! I just loved hearing that he was ok. You can even hear the movements and kicks! Even hiccups. Its so cute. I'm sure you'll love it. Congrats on the baby!

Has anyone used the Angel Sounds baby Heart monitor? If so could you pick up the baby's heart beat easily?

Ive heard really bad things about that doppler. It doesn't work well. You can't pick anything up till around 32 weeks and half the time you can't pick up anything at all. I had a friend who bought and freak out because she couldn't pick up the heart beat.

Its the same one that they use in your OB office. I got it when I was 15 weeks. It was the most amazing thing ever. It had a record feature and you can record your babies heart beat and load it up to your computer and sent it to everyone.

They are worth the money and will only cause worry.

I'm looking to buy a home fetal heart monitor and was wondering what is the best one to buy? Any suggestions? Thank you!

My sister gave me one last night that works wonderfully! It's called Baby Sound and she said she bought it for $65 at a medical supply store. She got it when she was pregnant and could hear her baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks! I am 24 weeks currently and was able to pick up my little girl immediately, so it works VERY well.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. My sister got a good deal on this one, but the $40 ones you can get at Wal-Mart DO NOT work very well and can't get the heartbeat until very late in pregnancy.

Has anyone used the summer brand fetal heart monitor?

I am 17 and a half weeks pregnant and I bought the summer brand fetal heart monitor at babies r us today. I tried to use it and heard mostly loud, annoying static and once I got it to quiet down while pressed against my belly i still couldn't hear much of anything. I am just wondering if anyone else has used this product successfully. I know I am still about 8 weeks early for when they suggest to start using it for best results but I am sort of curious about if it will even work then.

Personally, I think they're all crap :(
I haven't had any luck with the ones you can buy at BRU or other stores. At 17.5 weeks, you should be able to pick up a HB with a doppler.
You would've been better off renting one of the good ones from one from the rental websites.
Can you return the ones from BRU?
