I have seen and read many great reviews for this product, and I want to know if it really works.Sometimes you wonder if the reviews you read are real or not, and I think this would be worth the investment (not that it's much.) I do wonder if this product works as well as it claims to, and any input would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

I do use the Angel care monitors. I used them with my daughter when she was a baby 3 1/2 years ago and I am now using it with my son.

I absolutely love the monitor!! In my opinion they work great!!

It really helped me to sleep at night knowing if my baby stopped breathing for what ever cause it would alarm.

Sometimes when the baby is bigger and starts to roll around a little bit you may get some false alarms because the baby may roll off of the sensor pad. But in my mind I would rather have a false alarm then a real one.

My son has a breathing problem so I am still using it and he is almost a year old. Oh my Gosh he will be a year old next week. Boy the time flys. Since he already has a breathing issue I use it all the time but especially when he gets sick because he ends up getting croup, which is very scary. We almost always have to take him to the hospital for breathing treatments for that.

All I have to say is I love the Angel Care Monitor and I totally recommend it!!!

Does anyone use the Angel Care Sound & Movement monitor? What are your experiences with it?

The Angel Care monitor is the one with the sensor pad that goes under the crib mattress and detects the baby's breathing. If it doesn't detect breathing for 15 seconds an alarm sounds to alert the parents.

I have a love-hate for this thing cause when my baby was first born, it was the only way I can get any peaceful sleep, without constantly worrying if my baby was still breathing (moms, you know how it is!!).

Now that she's almost 6 months and moves around so much at night, I obviously can't keep the monitor on cause the alarm constantly goes off.

But now I'm finding that I'm having trouble sleeping without it on and the worry about SIDS is creeping back.

Have any of you other parents experienced this and how did you overcome it?

Answer
I personally didn't use this product, but I did do a search for reviews on it for you... so you can read how others view it since no one has answered your question.

From my own personal view as a mother of 2. ..on not being able to hardly sleep at all not knowing if they are breathing, I totally understand...

My oldest daughter had to be on an apnea monitor from 2 months to 4 months, because she had stopped breathing one time... and so that thing that you bought would have been wonderful to have but it must not have been out when she was born (99) ... but anways... I so know what your feeling... when mine were young like that I ALWAYS go up in the night and checked on them.. layed my hand on their chest or back to see if it was going up and down... I also have anxiety so it was always so much worse with me freakin out ya know... it is normal though for an infant to stop breathing for 19 seconds... and usually SIDS will happen before 6 months... I mean that might make you feel better, another thing that I did do was keep the babies in my room until I thought they were old enough and safe enough to sleep without me ... but I do suggest checking her thru periods of the night... and in time mom, you will feel better about it...

Good Luck...
