Does it change for gestational diabetes?

Answer
Assuming you don't have any signs or risk factors for preterm labor, they usually start checking your cervix around 36 weeks. If you have gestational diabetes, that will probably increase your chances of preterm labor and I'm guessing they're going to monitor you and your baby more closely. You should expect an ultrasound to check your baby's weight, since mothers with diabetes tend you have heavier babies. Each doctor is different and it depends on the mother's individual circumstances.

What should I have in my home for baby before bringing her home?

Mommy of 2

I already have the car seat, crib, bassinet, and a little bit of clothing, but what exactly is it that I absolutely need?
I have bibs, onsies, diapers, rash cream, socks, under shirts, a coat, booties, andsleep sacks.
