Baby things for baby shower?

My friend asked if I had a registry and to send her a list of things we needed for bubs, and also a list of things we DEFINITELY dont need (for example I have 2 baby monitors and clothes to put her through college)

HELP lol here are some things Ive thought of
Gift certificates to walamrt
Baby towels
Bugger Sniffer
Digital Baby Thermometer

can anyone else me think of things that I should put on the list, was thinking of adding things of all price ranges so everyone could afford to get baby something (when I say this I dont expect gifts, but I also dont want to put pricey things and leave people no options to get bubs something)

We have literally everything from crib,car seat, stroller, stroller cdoesn't bassinet, breast pump (which doesnt make a great gift lol anyway), blankets, change table, stuffys, monitor, baby bath ( we pretty much have everything) Im looking for the "OH YA" stuff we might have forgotten?

It doesn't hurt to ask for diapers, but don't be afraid to put some spendy stuff on there. Most of the time the people with get you a few things if you ask for the smaller gifts lol

Also, how about baby shampoo and stuff? They have great gift baskets at places like walmart.

Does anyone have a baby monitor they'd recommend?

I had one made by Safety First that we got at Wal-Mart and it quit working. We have no clue why. It was cheap in more ways then one. I'm looking for a new monitor that's not expensive, preferably under $30. Does anyone have a baby monitor they really like and would recommend? We need something that will last more then 2 months because we cannot afford to keep replacing them.
I don't mind paying a bit more if it's a good one. Fisher Price was what we had before but bugs got into it while it was packed up so it quit. The local Wal-Mart stopped carrying Fisher Price monitors :(
I absolutely cannot afford $130 for a baby monitor!! That's absurd!

This is the one I have and love it and it's not really expensive,I have had it for 3 yrs and had no problems with it.They have a newer model of it at walmart.I like the lights and sounds ones.
