Answer
Im not entirely sure but i believe xbox does not have a specific port for the HDMI cord, which is used to transmit the Standard definition or SD to HD. I think you put the normal cables into the moniter, then there is a switch in the back of the xbox that should say SD and HD or something similar. When your plugged in, switch to the HD setting, and enjoy playing

k so i got 2 BSODS (Blue screens of death) on my 5 day old m17x and now i ran crysis warhead and all the debris starts going multi colored and also whenever an explosion near me happens, screen goes multi colored. Yellow green from top right corner fades to dark blue bottom left corner
this thing has been my baby. havnt dropped it or spilled water on it or anything. GPU overheated? i highly doubt that cuz ive been monitoring temps and it hasnt passed 50 degrees celsius
Edit: Im downloading drivers right now and i REALLY hope its not overheated, can't wait another 2 months to get another :(
btw its comparable to most desktops so its powerful enough i know
Answer
Sounds like you may have to do some warranty return work. I would normally have suggested an overheating cause.
Try running other games, or an intense video benchmark http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ and see if that has the same problem.
