iv seen plenty and heard many things too, including the scariest iv experienced was seeing a huge gold ball above my head whilst in bed and waking the next morning to find out at that exact time my cousin had died in a car accident
also iv woke up too see a man standing at the side of my bed, holding his hands and looking down at the floor
many photo's iv taken have orbs in them especially when they are pics of my daughter as a young child
only 2 nights ago my husband was downstairs and my baby was in bed upstairs and we had the baby monitor on, we heard someone go into our bedroom walk across the room and leave the room again and close the door, we could hear that through the baby monitor and also above us on the ceiling, yet we know no one else was even in with us and it couldnt have been anyone, and our baby is only 8 month old so he hadnt got up and walked about lol

Answer
Are ghosts real? Who of us can truly say if they are real or not?
But consider this: Everyone loves a good ghost story and making docu-dramas about ghostly encounters and ghost hunting is a lot easier and cheaper than hiring writers, actors, directors, and stage hands to make a TV show. Ghost hunting and TV shows about ghosts are just cheap to make and eat up air-time while selling advertising space.
I have never seen footage of an alleged ghost or haunting that I could not explain away with a simpler, easier to grasp answer than a supernatural one. So called "orbs" may be nothing more than dust, water droplets, or insects. Strange mists are just that: strange mists. EVP recordings (Electronic Voice Phenomena) can be the result of inaudible sounds during the recording sessions, or interference from other electronic sources (radio waves, cell phones, baby monitors, etc.)
There is no solid evidence for the existence of ghosts. Does that mean that ghosts are not real? No. It just means that there is no solid evidence for ghosts.
When ghost hunters claim to be doing things "scientifically" they aren't really using the scientific method. Gadgets and gizmos do not a science make. The scientific method requires that experiments be conducted, that the results be reproduced at any time and in any location, and that there be a control in the experiment.
Ghost hunting would be more believable if ghost hunters also investigated houses that weren't haunted. I can almost guarantee that they'd get the same weird results as when allegedly haunted houses are investigated. But since ghost hunters only look into houses that are reported to be haunted, the unusual data they collect are viewed as "proof" of haunting when, in truth, no control was ever used in their investigation.
