what is an opk i think it is something you take to try and concieve a baby? is this true and what is it? and where do you get it?
Answer
"Ovulation Predictor Kit" otherwise known as an OPK.
I have to admit I buy the internet cheapie pee-sticks from ebay and I'm a big fan, they seem to be very accurate and tie in with the temperatures I take and chart on FertiltyFriend.com! You can buy them in bulk as I'm planning not to fork out for expensive Ovulation monitors unless I have to!
The pee-sticks are used just like a HPT but detect the Lutenising Hormone instead of HCG, telling you that you'll ovulate in the next 24-48 hours (time to grab DH!)

The above brand shown in the link is the exact kind I've been using, they're great! More info on how to use them is below :)

Beauifu
the doctors say her cervix had abnormal cells, and shes always sick; her emune? system is low, and i was wondering if this is healthy to be having a baby...is there a possibility that she could miscarry?
well, the thing is, her parents made her abort the first kid
Answer
There's always a possibility that any woman may miscarry. Your friend needs to just concentrate on getting and staying healthy, both for her baby and herself. Neither her abortion history or her present physical condition are the baby's fault. All she can do is do the best she can for this baby right now.
She can boost her immune system by walking every day, being out in the sunshine, taking a good quality prenatal vitamin, getting plenty of sleep, and eating right. Eating sugar will depress her immune system. She needs plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
In many cases, abnormal cervical cells will resolve themselves, especially after the baby is born and her hormones return to normal. Her doctor will most likely want to monitor her condition during and after the pregnancy. Thankfully, abnormal cells on the cervix tend to be quite slow-growing. If necessary, your friend can be induced for labor early or have an early c-section. She needs to remember that every abortion increases her risk of cervical cancer. The abortionist must force open the cervix, often causing tears and damage. In childbirth, by contrast, the cervix opens gradually and naturally. Considering the fact that she just aborted another child not long ago, she would do well to let her cervix heal until the delivery.
I hope all goes well for your friend and her baby. Here's some information about the development of your friend's baby:
