Trying to view wireless baby cam on my mac. what adapter do i need?!?

Roy R

i have a wireless baby monitor that connects to the yellow rca jack on a tv which we use in our kitchen. I want to start using the monitor to view our new born while in my office downstairs but I dont know what kind of cable i need to purchase for my imac (latest version).

I have a dvi to video connector that views the opposite way which shows the video from my computer to the tv but i need it the other way around this time.

Answer
This should take care of you:
XtraView - USB Video & Audio Capture for Mac

It comes with the ability to capture video to your Mac as well, but you can also use it just for casual viewing.

he doesnt feel like he has a fever and it was only 99.6 last time i checked it before he went to sleep

Answer
Well if you gave him tylenol 2 hours ago, you can't give him another dose for another 2 hours anyway. Go to bed and set an alarm of some sort for 2-3 hours and check on him then. If he feels really warm, wake him up and give him another dose. It is really rare for a baby to have a super high fever because of his shots. They usually run a low grade temp like you've described. I don't think his temp is going to spike to a dangerous level . If he does get super sick during the night he will most likely cry and wake you up (I assume you have a baby monitor). He really just needs to get some sleep and let his body fight off the vaccine so they he builds up his immunity to those diseases like he is supposed to. He may even sleep longer than he usually does because that is what his body needs right now.

My son just got his 12 month shots yesterday and has had a low grade temp off and on all day today. He has been miserable and doesn't want to eat or drink, but it's helpful to remember that this will pass and he will be feeling better in a day or two. I made him mac & cheese (his favorite) and gave him juice even though he doesn't get it very often at our house just so he would have something on his stomach. I'm just going to let him sleep it off. It really isn't anything to worry about. Getting sick from the vaccine is so much milder than getting sick with any of those diseases. He'll be just fine. Get some rest. Good Luck!
